TRIGGER WARNING**
THIS PODCAST CONTAINS EXPLICIT CONTENT of sexual violence that some people may find disturbing.
Welcome to the podcast! This space was created to explore sexual abuse, predatory behavior, and the realities of working within the Department of Corrections, forensic psychology, and severe psychiatric mental health systems. These conversations are meant to inform, challenge assumptions, and offer insight into cases and systems that are often misunderstood in both positive and negative ways.
Episodes include survivor interviews, offender case discussions, casual conversations with peers or friends, and discussions with other professionals. Topics vary widely but always focus on the psychology behind predatory behavior, abuse, and criminal patterns, as well as the professional experiences gained from working in these complex fields.
I hold graduate degrees in counseling psychology and forensic psychology and have worked across private practice, inpatient psychiatric care, emergency settings, corrections, and military-contracted mental health roles. The stories shared here come from real professional experiences, exposing systems and scenarios most people are curious about but rarely get to see.
These episodes are for listeners seeking awareness, insight, and a deeper understanding of the criminal mind, or for those curious about what it’s truly like to work in this field. Some stories are difficult, but they are shared with intention, care, and respect.
Protecting the privacy of everyone connected to each case is always a top priority. Identifying details are changed or omitted to safeguard those involved while preserving the integrity and educational value of the story.
