Welcome back, to The Deadly Countdown.

This week, we take a look at arguably the most intriguing cold-case from the UK, that of the much loved Jill Dando. Theories abound as to who was responsible for her assassination on her own doorstep, but as we soon learn, especially in a murder investigation, placing all your eggs in one basket can prove both costly, and deeply embarrassing for law enforcement.

As mentioned in today's episode, we now have our own Patreon. Head over there for early ad-free releases and to access the fortnightly Patreon only show "The Cold Countdown". Simply head over to:

Welcome, to The Deadly Countdown.

Our second episode takes us to the sleepy town of Ossett, West Yorkshire. It’s here, amidst a run of poor fortune, that the Taylors, Michael & Christine, would find solace in a charismatic Christian movement. But what appeared at first to be just what the doctor ordered for the couple, resulted in one of the strangest and most barbaric cases the UK has ever seen.

Stay safe out there,

Kevin.

Welcome, to The Deadly Countdown.

On today’s debut episode, we take a dive in to the killings that spawned millions of dollars worth of films and books, and put the murder location in the forefront of everyone’s mind when discussions on ghosts are made. Simply saying the word “Amityville” conjures images of the infamous house, with its windows appearing like eyes.

But, although the alleged paranormal happenings are very much down to your beliefs, what is not, and shockingly often skipped within the Amityville narrative, are the killings of 6 members of the DeFeo family. Today we walk through the timeline of events, and note some lesser discussed theories around the case.

Stay safe out there,

Kevin.
