The word ‘redemption’ is rich with meaning. Redemption (apolytrōsis) is a payment that sets a person free from slavery, prison, or bondage, including freedom from the deserved punishment and the associated guilt , shame, and fear. Jesus has redeemed every believer. In this message, we will talk about how believers can learn to walk in the fullness of the freedom that Jesus purchased for us.

Have you ever slowed down to think about why God wants us to repent? In this message we will discuss the following ideas… Repentance is not punishment, rather it is a pathway to restored relationship. Our repentance is so important to God, at times He will bring trials into our life to get us to repent. Although God cares about our behavior, the primary thing He wants to see change when we repent is our heart (because behavior flows from our heart). Jesus took his disciples to Caesarea Philippi, one of the most idolatrous, sexually immoral locations within walking distance of Jerusalem/Galilee and revealed Himself to them as the Christ or Messiah. As the disciples are receiving this revelation, Jesus calls Peter ‘Simon son of Jonah’. In this message, we will discuss the significance of Jesus taking His disciples to this location, the name He calls Peter, and the declaration Jesus makes about the Gates of Hades not prevailing against them.
