The love is Christ is powerful and Paul wants the church at Ephesus to remember how much Christ loves them. He also wants them to see that God is powerful and can do more than we could ever dream. In fact, Paul prays for 3 things in this section of scripture and all three we should strive for.
In this lesson over Ephesians 3:1-13, we see that Paul gets on a rabbit trail that leads him to explain the mystery age as well as his role as the apostle to the gentiles. As we look at the scripture, we can glean many applications, one being, that we should not think or act like we know more than God does.
In this lesson over Ephesians 2:10-23, we see that the church is a unique body joined together through the blood of Christ. We also see that the church age gentiles have some cool blessings that gentiles have not always enjoyed. Paul is building a foundation of unity that he we continue to build all the way through the book.
This lesson is titled "Reunited" because Paul talks about how we were dead in sins, yet God sent Christ to make us alive. The church at Ephesus had been reunited with God positionally, and as we will see next week, practically as well. Today, as we look at who we were before we were saved, we see that we were sinners and practically still are. Because of this fact, we can witness the great love and grace of God who sent Jesus to save us all.
In this lesson we will see that Paul has a prayer for the faithful church in Ephesus and we see that his will for them is to have a confident expectation in the things to come because God is all Powerful and has given all authority to the all powerful Jesus Christ.
In today's lesson we will take a brief look at four more spiritual blessings that we receive as those who have put their faith in Jesus for eternal life. As we look at theses blessings, it is important to remember to thank God for who we are IN CHRIST. His work has done it all and we should be thanking God daily for the spiritual blessings that we have.

In this lesson we look at Ephesians 1:3-6 and see how before the world began, God chose the church to be his light in the world. Making sure to note that the church has not replaced Israel, we see that the church is special to God and that has blessed the church, and its members, in many ways.
Ephesians is a powerful and practical book that shows us who we are in Christ and how we should act because of that. In today's lesson we will get an overview of the context of Ephesians and see that this church was a faithful church who Paul is writing to encourage to continue in faithfulness, and remind them who they are.
In this one shot lesson we see Paul talking to a church about the "New Man" and how we as believers can live a life as image bearers of God. We no longer have to give into the old self, but can live according to the new self, who has died and rose again with Christ.
