A house is not a home. It may look like a place where people live, but is it a nourishing, growing, protecting environment? When you step into a house, you may see the rooms designated, but are they "lived in"? Is the atmosphere palpable? Does it feel safe?
In this episode, we consider the relationships we have and the ones we need. We also think about what type of person we are: introvert (those energized by time away from others, or extrovert (those energized by interaction with others. Looking at each relationship in our lives presently can we see "load-bearing" friendships as well as other friendships that help us to grow and develop? Are the roles of others clearly defined and understood or are they more like extras in a movie?
Lots to consider, I know. This episode is not conclusive, just something to consider which may help you to give purpose to those you interact with on a regular basis and intention to those interactions.
