Doug Sovern is away today. President Trump is in Los Angeles right now, touring the devastation in Pacific Palisades. Just minutes after he got off Air Force One., Trump was greeted by Governor Gavin Newsom and the press at LAX. He was in North Carolina earlier today to survey the damage from Hurricane Helene, where he said he would sign an executive order to eliminate the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
