U.S. President Donald Trump will be omitting goods covered by the USMCA trade deal from being impacted by tariffs for one month. Alberta Premier Danielle Smith said that while tariffs are in effect she will not be signing any new pipeline deals with the U.S. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has dismissed any suggestion that he wants to use the tariff crisis to run for re-election.
