Truth 2 Ponder

Christians today face unprecedented challenges to what they believe. In most of the western world where religious freedom is guaranteed, those guarantees are systematically being ignored and trampled upon by our own leaders. Today, Bob shares what he believes may be a great opportunity to stem that decline.

On the Sunday night episode of the CBS television program, 60 Minutes, President Joe Biden declared that the Pandemic was over. Of course, with a critical election looming just 6 weeks away and few (if any) real accomplishments to show, the Democrats are desperate for some good pre-election news stories to minimize their loses in the various congressional races and even some governorships and state houses. Don’t be fooled. Leftists and globalists are not going to let this crisis, or any other, slip from their hands. The good news is only temporary. On Thursday it was announced that a tentative contract was reached with the unions representing railroad workers in the United States. What many people have not understood is what the negative impact would have been to the already fragile economy had that agreement not been reached. Most people have no idea of how vital the rail link is in our nations supply chain. This would have devastated food prices, gasoline prices, and much more, and while this strike has been averted for now, it still could happen in the future. This begs the question, are you prepared for lean times? Please remember, we are only on the air because of your faithful support. The only way to describe the state of the western world is to simply say “It’s a train wreck.” Our leaders promote insane ideas, junk science, and dangerous ideologies. We need to realize that all of this will lead to dangerous and unsettled times, the likes we have not seen in most of our lifetimes. We need to be aware, and we need to be prepared. Guest host, Jim Calhoun, gives some practical solutions and ideas. Please remember, we are only on the air because of your faithful support. Anyone with a “lick” of common sense would look at a typical newscast today and conclude the world has gone certifiably insane. From bills in states that will put the average citizen in great danger, to the open borders allowing millions of people into the nation unchecked, to schools pushing transgenderism and anti-family policies, many good people have had enough. The problem is, the enemy of your soul and family wants you mad, mad enough to provoke a fight that can be used against you. Don’t fall for it; it’s a trap!

When you look at all of the news stories and topics that dominate the public conversation, many seem to be disconnected from each other, but don’t be deceived. There is a common thread that runs through many of these seemingly unrelated items are (in reality) carefully constructed parts of a far greater agenda. We need to be able to spot the common thread and be ready to respond. Please remember, we are only on the air because of your faithful support. In the 70 some odd years that Queen Elizabeth reigned, the world went through some incredible changes; some were positive, but many were not. Today, Bob looks at how the world has become vastly different place and why the Church is still relevant in spite of the rapid falling away. Today, people will hate you for what you think and what you believe. Increasingly, groups are using the unbridled power of government to censor political or cultural speech they deem “offensive” to their group of political ideology. They see nothing wrong with destroying people, simply because they disagree. Today, Bob begins a discussion on why we cannot afford to remain silent on critical issues facing our nation and world. Today, Bob opens the program with a few stories that underscore the rapidly progressing changes in our culture, our declining societal morals, and overall evil direction. We need to be both aware and be secure in the knowledge that what we see, hear, and share, is truthful. Also on the program, guest host Jim Calhoun shares his thoughts on last week’s highly angry, divisive, and extremely political speech.
