Truth Matters Church

We can learn from our brother Paul that when we seek prayer from others and when we pray for ourselves, our requests must be centered on God's will. Let's focus our thoughts and prayers on the finish line and not on the temporal problems that may be in front of us today.

Jesus told believers in Sardis that if they did not wake up He would come to them -like a thief-. This statement is often applied to a secret rapture, but the whole of Scripture reveals far more about Jesus's proclamation than is often taught or considered.

Today we finish our look at Jesus's letter to the church in Thyatira and explore His mysterious promise to give the Morning Star to those who overcome the world and keep His deeds until the end.

Each of us a soldier in the battle of good vs. evil. God has given us all that we need to be victorious, but it is upon us to take up our armor daily and stand firm in the faith.
