The command for wives to be subject to their husband pairs perfectly with the command for husbands to love their wives. In this scenario a pure family union is sustained.

In part 2 of our look at Jesus's letter to the church in Ephesus, we get an interesting glimpse into the work of angels, and see how Christ's words would have resonated with those living in a city that worshiped the goddess Artemis.

Continuing our study of Revelation, today we open chapter 2 and look at the church in Ephesus and its history so we can better understand the letter Jesus wrote to this early Christian church.

The enemy of our souls uses pride to keep people from Christ. Pride ruins lives, families, companies, and ministries.

In part two of our message we are faced with the question- are Death and Hades places, angels, or both- As we continue to see in our study of Revelation, what Scripture reveals is very surprising-

Spending too much effort on anything that yields only worldly results or pleasures is a poor use of the time God has given us.

Jesus says He holds the keys to Death and Hades. Today we take a hard look at this place called Hades- where it is, what it is, who goes there, and how Christ and the Father are involved.

Our obedience to God allows the light of Christ to expose sin in both believers and unbelievers, and is critical to sharing the full Gospel with the lost and leading people to repentance.

In part 2 of this message, we learn more about John's vision of the glorified Christ and the attributes and authority of our risen Lord. We also get more insight into the unseen heavenly realm and its influence on earthly events.
