But Jesus, rather than just looking at the presenting issue, saw into peoples hearts. And He saw that every person had some kind of need. Spiritual, emotional, psychological, physical.

I've already determined that I'm not gonig to accept anything this guy has to say before I've even heard it. I've already decided that I'm not going to listen to God because I don't believe in Him. I've already determined that I'm not going to accept the word of God because I am not even willing to hear it and consider it. See, if you are not even willing, the issue is not whether it's credible; it's that you have a hard heart.

The word that Jesus is talking about is God's word that has the power to change our lives. To teach us, to rebuke us, to correct us, to train us in righteousness. The word that can set us free!

When people see Christ in us, you know what they know? That's a real Christ follower.

When we confess to God that we are sinners and we ask for His grace and forgiveness and we believe in Jesus Christ; that's what it means to come into a personal relationship with Him.

Jesus is going to give us the credentials, the reasons, the proof, the evidence, the testimony of why He actually is who He said He is!

And Jesus says, "Whoever hears my words and believes in Him who sent me has eternal life."
