The Gospel of Jesus Christ has the power to save us from our sins. However, it must first be preach and received by faith. The Gospel will deliver us from sin’s penalty, sin’s power and ultimately from this present evil world.

We can’t afford to lose the joy of our salvation. No matter what we are facing we need the joy of the Lord to carry us through. Because the JOY OF THE LORD IS OUR STRENGTH!!

God’s ultimate goal for us is to prepare us for what he has in store for us in heaven. Sometimes it means we need to be encouraged and sometimes we may need to be corrected. So, as we look at the church of Ephesians we see Jesus commending, condemning, and correcting His church. He encourages them for the things they did good and condemned them for what they did wrong but he also gave them consolation and motivation to overcome their sin.

We have come to Mt. Carnal is the personal battle we all have with our sin nature each and everyday. However, It is a mountain we can overcome this mountain by the power of the Spirit of Christ.

In this episode, I explain to you how we all face the unmovable mountain call Mt. carnal. It is our sin nature that we all struggle with each and every day. We may not be able to move this massive mountain but can master it by the power Jesus Christ supplies. However, we must first acknowledge that we are sinners and are in need of God’s mercy and grace. We must also develop a spiritual mind or a biblical perspective of how Christ wants us to live and we do this by renewing our mind with the word of God. Finally, as we learn to rely on the Indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit we will find all the power we need to overcome Mt. Carnal, our sin nature.
