On January 1, 2023 Pastor Kevin Akana brought this message to the church. As we celebrated the new year and looked forward to the new year it was important for us to be "All for Christ!"

What happened after Jesus was born in a manger? What happened after the angel announced the birth of the Saviour to the shepherds and after they went with haste to see this thing that was made known to them? In this passage we will Jesus at 8 days old and at 12 years old.

Was Jesus born on December 25th? If He was not born on that date, when was Jesus born? Pastor Kevin looks at some verses in Scripture that gives us hints to when our LORD was born. Hint: It has something to do with a feast day.

In chapter 4 we see the golden age of Israel. King David set things up in order for the blessings to fall upon the nation during the reign of Solomon. Here we see the height of the nation, yet they still only occupied a fraction of the land that God had for them.

The choices we make are very important. Solomon's decision to make "affinity with Pharaoh king of Egypt" was not a good one. A few verses later the LORD appears to Solomon in a dream. This time King Solomon made the right choice in asking for wisdom.

In this chapter of 1 Kings 2 David gives his son Solomon some words of advice before he passes away. There is also some unfinished business that David needs Solomon take care of for him.

In this chapter we will see a transition of power. David the king is old, and he will soon pass away. The chosen heir to the throne is Solomon, but in this chapter we will see another son who will seek to take the throne and the kingdom.

Here we see the Resurrected LORD as Jesus appears again to some of His disciples. In this chapter we will see a familiar miracle, and we will see Jesus teach Peter an important lesson.
