Also, I want to challenge some people on their beliefs that may have been rooted in half-truths. We talked in detail about awareness last week, but didn't talk about important parts of created change this week, including self responsibility from all people.

At the end of the day my belief is with the company I started to -- #bethechange you wish to see in the world and the spreading of division and hate going on in a time of turmoil that we as a planet are going through is unacceptable.

This episode is following our past couple episodes continuing with Truth and Unity. We have some really deep topics today and some great guests.

This episode is going to continue the hard conversation of racial divide, media divide and current events of the week. We are hoping to have a former police officer that has something known as "The 12 Project" which is an advocacy and training program starting with Child Advocacy Centers, better dealing with how communication works with Police Departments. We want to talk with him about his story, how he became a police officer, and why he left. Ultimately now he's trying to create positive change, and he has a great perspective on Police Reform. We of course have Curtis Harkness and Aaron Smalls for today's show, and we'll have an appearance from Kash Lee Kelly to weigh in on his feedback and the good news in his world. In just a few short weeks has become a voice for change after an impassioned Facebook live video went viral, and he's got a similar message to us here at #BeTheChange with his #streetlightsunitymovement #SUM.

The concept about this hour on politics is to create open dialogue. We have made ourselves well versed in politics, with a willingness to research every bit of information that comes my way and separating fact from "media fact," based on exhaustive research and common sense in the English language. This will be an open forum for discussion. The first few have been incredibly productive as we try our best to show every side so that we better know to have a conversation in the end. We are going to share our thoughts, and do our best to answer a couple questions. I'll be keeping this show to one hour (ish) and again, looking to continue this regularly. We will talk about the issues in Atlanta, why it's important to listen to different viewpoints, what this division is causing and why this is so dangerous as a society... the hangings, the elderly woman pushed in the street in NY, we have to maintain civility, and we want to help you with that voice.

Here's the "Event" - this starts at 5:30 pm EDT and will go for about an hour to explain the danger in all the hateful posting going on with political posts. Right now, as a country we are in this together and I want to separate opinion from facts, logic from emotion, and what happens when we start to share our "opinions" as fact. Also, I want to challenge some people on their beliefs that may have been rooted in half-truths. We talked in detail about awareness last week, but didn't talk about important parts of created change this week, including self responsibility from all people.

At the end of the day my belief is with the company I started to -- #bethechange you wish to see in the world and the spreading of division and hate going on in a time of turmoil that we as a planet are going through is unacceptable.

I want both my liberal and conservative friends alike to join me and I will be coming at this conversation from strictly a point of logic and hope. We are allowed to differ in opinions, but we have to separate emotion from logic. There are too many that are venting whilst presenting their messages as facts and those messages getting shared over and over. What they are doing is no different from a virus, my friends, your friends, so many people on FB are spreading inaccurate messages and presenting them as truth. I don't believe the News wants to present accurate news as much as the good ole' days because division and hate sells.
