  • Blessing Noah I
This sermon explores the renewal of God's original mandate for humanity in Genesis 9, emphasizing that God's purpose for human beings remains unchanged despite the judgment of the flood. The central message asserts that God's primary desire is to bless humanity, a truth that stands in contrast to the cultural narrative that views humans as detrimental to the natural world. By analyzing the imperative commands to be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, the text highlights the divine importance of family, marriage, and population growth as fundamental components of God's design. The preacher contrasts this biblical view with ancient myths and modern ideologies that seek to limit human reproduction, arguing that the world was created for humanity to inhabit and govern. Ultimately, the sermon encourages believers to view God's commands not as burdens but as the means through which He bestows His blessings and fulfills His good plan for the world.

  • The reach of Salvation.
The question has existed for many years, but in recent years it has become a source of great division and animosity. Who can be saved? This question has driven a great wedge in our Christian society, but it is a question that we must be settled in if we are to ever be about the Father's business. We must have an answer, because there are many people who are in need of salvation, there may be some here today. We must know the answer! Who then can be saved? What is the reach of the cross? Who is included? We must have an answer!

  • Continuing in the Spirit
This sermon addresses the theological error of mixing salvation by grace with works of the law, using the Galatian church's drift toward legalism as a primary example. The central message emphasizes that believers are saved by faith alone and must continue their spiritual growth through the power of the Holy Spirit rather than their own fleshly efforts. Key themes include the sufficiency of Christ's finished work on the cross, the necessity of spiritual discernment to avoid false doctrines, and the distinction between holiness and human perfection. The tone is both convicting and pastoral, urging the audience to examine their reliance on personal ability versus their dependence on God. The sermon concludes by affirming that true sanctification and spiritual fruit are the result of abiding in Christ, not human striving.

  • Paul, a Faithful Witness
This sermon examines the Apostle Paul's defense before King Agrippa to illustrate the necessity of unwavering commitment to the gospel. The central message emphasizes that believers must remain faithful witnesses regardless of opposition, persecution, or personal limitations, relying entirely on God's strength rather than their own. By analyzing Paul's consistent message to both Jews and Gentiles, the text highlights the importance of sharing the unaltered truth of Christ's death and resurrection in a world that often seeks compromise. The tone is both instructional and encouraging, urging the audience to view their daily environments as mission fields and to resist the spiritual warfare that seeks to discourage their ministry. Ultimately, the sermon calls for a deep assurance in the power of the gospel and a compassionate desire for others to be saved, warning against the tragedy of remaining 'almost' a Christian.

The message emphasizes that while material wealth rots and decays, the coming of the Lord is near, requiring steadfastness and trust in God's compassion, as illustrated by the examples of the prophets and Job. It further instructs the church to respond to suffering and sickness through fervent prayer, citing Elijah as a model of a righteous person whose prayers have great power. The sermon concludes with an urgent exhortation to share the faith and bring back those who have wandered from the truth, highlighting the eternal significance of saving souls from death.

Cultural controversies change constantly, but the worldview beneath them remains the same: humanity's rejection of God's authority to define reality. In this Weekly Watch episode, Dave Jenkins explains how Romans 1 equips Christians to recognize the lies beneath modern debates about identity, sexuality, human dignity, freedom, technology, justice, and truth. Christians are called to resist compromise and cruelty, renew their minds through God's Word, speak truth in love, and rest in the reign of Christ.
