They will only have 105 minutes to do so, while the Bank's staff will be distracted, watching the 2010 Football #WorldCup final match , played by Spain's #national #football team and #broadcast on a giant screen, coincidentally placed just in front of the Bank of Spain building. In this episode the crew gets together to discuss #FreeGuy currently in #theaters. The movie is the latest #action, #romance, #comedy film staring #RyanReynolds. The movie takes place in a video game world sort of like #Sims. A hidden feature within the game however causes Ryan, who plays a background bank teller named Guy to want more out of his mundane life than being robbed by #gun toting #vagabonds. In an attempt to save #simulated world, he winds up falling for one of his creators #MolotovGirl who is played by #JodieComer. The movie seems to play with society’s obsession to escape reality by way of technology. From our #iphones, to #robitc #AI life partners, society seems to be looking for an escape. Free guy is the opposite end of the spectrum, where it explores the idea of the video game characters developing #human like desires. Let us know what you think.

In this episode the crew gets together to discuss #Netflix #HitandRun, the latest inaction flick from the #dsp. The movie stars  #LiorRaz as #SegevAzulayas, and is also credited as a #creator of the film. The movie also stars, for a more familiar #castmate, #SanaaLathan as #NaomiHicks, and #GreggHenry as #MartinWexler. The films centers around Lior as he searches for #truth behind his wife’s death that leads him from #TelAviv to #NewYork, falling deeper into a web of secrets. Take any #LiamNeeson movie, swap daughter for wife and you get the general idea of where the movie intended on going. The issue was they sprinkled a bit too much #Rambo meets #VanDamme. The movie looks like it was shot in the 90’s with actors from the 80’s, with a score from the #2000’s and dialogue that has been overdubbed from #Klingon. However, this was filmed in English and made in 2021 so sadly the above just appears to be the perfect blend ingredients to make the shit sandwich that was #HitandRun.
