Happy Sunday everyone! And happy women’s history month! This week we decided to take a look at some of our favorite women in pop culture and the impact that they have had on us and why. We’re trying something new and working on actually staying on topic! Well... we try at least. So pull up a seat, get your thinking caps on, and join us as we talk about our favorite women in pop culture!

It’s Marvel time! You all know how big of geeks we are! Since this Sunday fell between two marvel shows, we decided to talk about them. We talk about our feelings and observations about WandaVision, as well as our hopes and excitement over Falcon and Winter Soldier! So grab you favorite drink as we try not to geek out!

Welcome to Trying to make it to 30! A podcast where we go from talking about controversial issues to coffee orders in less than 15 minutes! We’ve been away for the past couple weeks, so we’re bringing you a small bonus episode in the meantime of something we’ve cut from the past. Love is in the air this week as Cupid’s holiday arrive on a cold winter Sunday. As per usual a 30 minute topic turns into an hour long conversation about everything from the weather, star signs, alcohol, and the discussion on how we get things done on this podcast. Happy Birthday Sade! This week for episode 19 we take the time to celebrate Sade turning 28! It’s a brand new week, with a brand new episode and a brand new US president. So here at Trying to Make it to 30 we’re going back and talking about politics! Don’t groan just yet! We’re taking the time to really dig into how we feel about the US government and the new changes that are coming and are still needed for the future. At least, we try to. It would be our episode if we didn’t digress into at least five other topics that have nothing to do with our topic. So join us, Sade and Sarah, while we drink and try to get political!

You ever hear a phrase that the minute it’s uttered your eyes immediately roll? This week we take a serious turn and talk about how we feel when someone says the phrase “I don’t see color.” Taking time to try and see both sides of the argument and discuss our personal feelings, we get to the reason people say it and if it’s a valid argument or not. Why is 30 a big deal? Why are we worried about turning 30? Why did we start a podcast about it? What are we doing moving forward? So many questions, not too many answers.
