TSC Music Radio Podcast: Music with a Mission

In our season opener, Greg Thomas offers a word of encouragement and challenge to every Christian artist who desires to be an effective minister of music. He also gives a preview of what listeners expect as we move into our third exciting season of the podcast.

In our second ever interview via Skype, Greg Thomas chats with Oklahoma-based worship leader, songwriter, and minister Manoj “MJ” Oommen. MJ shares the vision behind his newly launched organization Bound2aCause, and the relationship between his music and his mission.

At 8 years old, Dee Mahan wrapped her hand around the neck of her father’s bass guitar and joined the family band. She and her daughter, Misty Quinn, recount memories of growing up in a musical family in Texas, and share insight into the Southern Gospel and Country Christian genres of music.

Scheduled for a separate meeting with Greg Thomas, Angel Garcia is pulled into an impromptu podcast as their meeting discussion takes a slight detour.
