• $TSLA $MCD, $SNAP $SHOP $TCBPTesla (TSLA) - The company will report quarterly earnings after market close Wednesday. Ahead of the report, Morgan Stanley named Tesla its top pick in the US automobile space. The firm said it likes Tesla's "profitability, free cash flow generation, strong balance sheet and an ability to use its scale and cost leadership to drive competitive advantage."
• McDonald's (MCD) - Will report quarterly results on Tuesday before market open.
• Snap (SNAP) - To publish Q4 earnings on Tuesday after market close.
• Shopify (SHOP) - Shares rebounded from below a notable technical level at $42 to push over resistance around $44. The stock was up 6% Wednesday morning. While the Benzinga Pro newsdesk did not see any formal news to justify the move in Shopify shares, traders on social media circulated a blog post which suggested Shopify may have risen prices for some of its services. This article may be the one traders are referencing but this information still seems to be unconfirmed.
