Former Seahawk great Cliff Avril says for most players, the first four games of the regular season are basically preseason because they didn't play a ton in the actual preseason. Cliff believes the Hawks have the talent on their roster, it's just a matter of getting up to full game speed, especially with their pass rush.

Paul Dolan says Max Crepeau was the best player for the Whitecaps this season and he proved that by his play on the pitch but also proved it when he wasn't playing as Zac McMath hasn't been close to the level of Crepeau.

TSN1040's Jeff Paterson says Adam Gaudette did every thing he could this preseason to prove that he deserves to be on the NHL roster and be on the roster as a centre. Jeff says when it comes to the other bubble players, they didn't do enough to stand out.
