He doesn't fancy himself an insider, he just wants to hear real stories from real hockey players including Sidney Crosby who Biz says gets unfairly painted with the 'hockey nerd' brush. He also says he still suffers from concussion issues and likes that the game is going away from fighting. He says the Canucks are 'OK' right now. He outlined Nashville is his favorite road city.

Paul Chapman of The Province joins TSN 1040 to talk about the BC Lions ownership situation. Chappy believes local ownership is key. He also added that there is still a place for 'big city markets' in the CFL. Chapman outlines the need for good on-field results to help bring in fans. Chapman questions the future of BC Place as the home venue.

Paul Edmonds on TSN Winnipeg joins TSN 1040. Edmonds expects Connor to sign a long term deal with the Jets in short order. Edmonds believes that Connor is more complete than Laine but Laine will probably earn more money. Edmonds also believes Tyler Myers will be a top two d-man for the Canucks.
