Joel and Steve reconvene after a few weeks to discuss the play Joel just wrapped up - "This Mortal Life Also" by Lincoln playwright Nancy Shank.

Joel played the brother-in-law to pastor and scholar Dietrich Bonhoeffer in Nazi Germany, and his (their) involvement in a plot to arrest - and and when that failed - assassinate Adolph Hitler.

The play is a triumph on every level; it is particularly timely in that there are plenty of parallels in it and what is happening currently in the United States.
