On this month's episode we discuss love language and if you and your partner have different love languages. Carter and Nikki speak about being in relationships where the love languages are different and how they and you can bridge the gap and make sure you and your partner's needs are met.
The five love languages consist of words of affirmation, quality time, acts of service, gifts, and consented physical touch. The five love languages were developed by Gary Chapman, Ph.D., in his book entitled The 5 Love Languages: The Secret to Love That Lasts. Discovering you and your partner's primary love language and speaking that language regularly may create a better understanding of each other's needs and support each other's growth.
The hosts take a Buzzfeed Love Language Quiz (found here). Carter and Nikki also give tips for dating people with each type of love language.
Try out this month's Cheers, Clink, I Need A Drink segment where you can learn to make You're Speaking My Language and only contains 3 ingredients that everyone usually has at home.
The last segment is Phone Eats First where Nikki talks about her visit to Schimpff's Confectionary in Jefferson, Indiana. More information on Schimpff's can be found here and be sure to book a tour when you're visiting Louisville or Indiana.
