Today, I'm talking with Valerie Baird about how to make friends and build community no matter where you live, what season of life you're in, or how the pandemic and shut-downs have affected you.
Valerie Baird will soon be calling Indiana home when she and her husband (Michael) move into the 100 year old farmhouse once owned by his grandparents. After four years at college across the state (it was a 6.5 hour drive), a three year stint in the Land of 10,000 Lakes (Minnesota), and another three in the Bluegrass State (Kentucky), Valerie is no stranger to packing, unpacking, and finding community somewhere new. Valerie and Michael will be joining Michale’s parents on the family farm - helping with the farming, the cattle, and all things fall during the pumpkin patch season!

Growth takes time. It's hard to see where we're growing until we look back and realize just how far we've come. In the Bible, it says that Jesus grew in wisdom and stature. And as imitators of Him, we want to be growing toward the people God created us to be.
Introducing the 2021 Growth Journal
This journal has over 90 pages all designed with YOU in mind. The journal was created to help you plan, track, and reflect on your growth in 2021, so that when you look back at the end of the year, you'll see just how much God has done in and through you. There are prayer pages, gratitude pages, goal setting pages, habit and mood tracking pages, milestones and memories pages, journal and doodle pages, and a bonus coloring sheet (share it on social media with #bonustuesday).
The 2021 Growth Journal is 100% FREE, but it's only available until January 5, 2021. So make sure you download it today!

Today, I’m talking with Anna Berry about parenting through the years, including the difference between leading and instructing your kids, how to parent adult kids, and keeping God at the center of it all.
Anna Berry lives in Littleton, Colorado and works in non-profit development. Married to her high school sweetheart, Mike, for 23 years, they’re adjusting to life as the proud parents of two blossoming and independent young adults: Robbie (19) the aspiring photographer and Ashley (21) the future attorney. Through the good, bad, and ugly of parenting, Anna credits faith, prayer, a strong marriage, and a supportive tribe as the keys to keeping a little sanity throughout the rollercoaster ride of motherhood. Coffee and puppy snuggles from her Schnoodle Bella don’t hurt either.
Connect with Anna on Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter, and email her to say hi - she'd love to hear from you!

Today, I’m talking with Sydney P. about her battle with depression, the story of her faith, and what she wants others to know from her story.
With roots dating back to the 1890s, Sydney is a deep native to the beautiful Colorado and proud of it. To make that money, she works as an opto-mechanical engineer designing small telescopes and safely "playing" with lasers. But the deep desire of her heart is to be a Godly wife and mom to a loving and dorky family. When not working, she spends her time cross-stitching, reading, camping, or spending quality time with friends and family. And if she could be any animal, it would be a Pterodactyl.
