On this episode of Another Music Podcast Chuck Livid chats with musicians RickoLus and Bleubird about their new pop/rap masher project Hurricane Party. The duo can best be described as Florida’s answer to Gorillaz. The dudes talk about collaborating together, writing & producing pop songs with hip-hop sensibilities and among other things we discuss their “in the can” Grammy nominations for Single & Album of the Year. [Ed.’s Note- Yes folks they’re that good.]
We’re also super stoked to drop their first two singles – “LIVN” and “A1A.”
We’d like to give special thanks to Rob Kingsley at Fuzz Baby Records for recording this episode of Another Music Podcast, Ian Witlen for snapping these bitchin’ pics, Hurricane Party for taking the time to chat with us and most especially you for tuning in.

Last week I got to hang and chat with Chris May of Atlanta’s punk-hardcore The Hanging Judge. The Hanging Judge have only been a band for a year but their fierce in your face style has quickly grabbed the attention of not only fans but of record labels.

This past Friday I chatted with the boys from The GAZMS in front of a live “studio” audience at Ft. Lauderdale’s Laser Wolf. We talked potato chips, Miami’s Fulltime Motherfucker / Sandratz’s “rock off” feud and talked shit about everyone’s favorite avant-garde noise asshole – Rat Bastard. They played a few songs (my apologies in advance for the horrible mix of the songs. We’re lofi out of necessity not because we’re cool.) Overall a good time was had. Hope you enjoy.
