From Sandy Hook in 2012 to Uvalde, Texas in May to Tulsa, Oklahoma in June: Are people becoming numb to gun violence incidents? With "only" four victims in Tulsa's mass shooting, it was said that "it could have been worse"
The Second Amendment ought to protect people. Law-abiding citizens still can have rights to own guns while laws can be improved to keep guns out of the hands of would-be killers.

In this episode, Ginnie Graham and Bob Doucette address the unspeakable tragedies of mass shootings. We’ve prayed; we’ve grieved; we’ve called for change; we’ve seen this cycle continuously repeat.
Americans remain heartbroken by the Tuesday, May 24 rampage in a fourth-grade classroom at Robb Elementary in Uvalde, Texas. Nineteen children and two teachers were killed. Seventeen others were wounded. The nation is united in mourning with the families and friends who face a lifetime of trauma.
But beyond that, what’s to be done?

May 20, 2022State legislature's strictest anti-abortion law
In this episode, Ginnie Graham and Bob Doucette address HB 4327, which allows lawsuits against abortion providers at any point after fertilization. It is similar to one enacted by Texas a year ago, except the Texas law makes abortion illegal after six weeks of pregnancy.
What does this mean for Oklahoma families in the future? The state's youth already ranks high for dealing with Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). The state legislature's focus on anti-abortion laws takes away from dealing with other pressing issues in Oklahoma.

In this episode, Ginnie Graham and Bob Doucette address homelessness in the Tulsa area, including proposed changes to a city ordinance that would make it easier for police officers to remove homeless people from the streets or other public rights of way and would subject them to fines and possible jail time or both.
