Sunday night Tunnel Vision is back with USCFootball.com's Ryan Abraham, Chris Trevino and Jack Smith in studio breaking down the USC spring game and spring practice overall as the Trojan football team heads into the long off-season. The guys were in the Coliseum for the Saturday scrimmage that featured the defense defeating the offense 42-34 in a modified scoring system. The game was broadcast live on the Pac-12 Network and featured two 15 minute halves with live tackling and a focus on younger players.
Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams started the game off with a 3-play, 75 yard touchdown drive and then never entered the game again. After a slow start the defense did bounce back, forcing several turnovers and generating a lot of quarterback pressure to help secure the win. The run game was a bright spot for the Trojan offense, featuring big plays by all of the backs including the two freshmen, Quinten Joyner and A'Marion Peterson, who both scored in the game. The guys talk about all of the players that stood out to them on both sides of the ball and what the players and head coach Lincoln Riley had to say after the game. They also give an update on the NCAA Transfer Portal which reopened on Saturday for two weeks. Cornerback Joshua Jackson Jr. put his name in the portal to start things off and there are several high profile candidates that entered from other teams that the Trojans could be going after.
