What happened to the Penskes? Rossi was the standard bearer for Andretti. Turn two was less than kind to Rinus Veekay who was an early favorite; Calum Ilott who might have some healing to do on his right hand; Romain Grosjean who was caught by the windy conditions as was Jimmie Johnson your Indy 500 Rookie of the Year. Spectacular effort by Juncos and Calum Ilott who continues to outperform this team’s perceived station. RLL finally has a good effort in qualifying - the only piece this team needs to contend week in and week out. NASCAR - going back two weeks to talk about Bristol’s dirt race and the need for such an event on a major holiday. A lot of news on F1’s visit to Imola including who has the better package. Is it Ferrari or Red Bull? And how about K-Mag in the Haas? The best start for a Haas since joining F1. Finally wrapping up with our news and notes on Barber including the story lines we're following. But not before we talk extensively about Pato staying with Arrow McLaren; Rossi potentially jumping to Arrow McLaren and whether or not drivers can impart setup and engineering expertise at another team. 

Tim and Dan break down the action at the Acura IndyCar Grand Prix of Long Beach. Penske continues their run with 3 of 3 wins on the season. A strong start to the season no doubt aided by a resurgent Chevy engine. Andretti needed a strong showing in Long Beach to reset the season. If Andretti needed a reset than that goes double for Alexander Rossi who has had success at Long Beach. Was it to be? What about Rahal Letterman Lanigan? And what of Jack Harvey getting his handle on this team and setups?
