In this second installment in our tribute to the hardworking men and women who use their hands to build this great country of ours, Angelike and I get tremendous insight from our guests Brian and Karina Struble.
Karina fled communism in her youth, coming to America with just $80 and a guitar. She worked nights in fast food and learned English by day and would eventually land in corporate America and meet her husband Brian. She then transitioned to entrepreneurship, saying how grateful she is for the opportunity to pursue her biggest dreams.
Brian is a second generation painter who also worked in corporate America for Sherwin Williams until one day he decided he wanted to go from employee to owner. He and Karina work together now and have plans to teach others, not just the trade, but how to maximize potential in today's savvy world of the "Blue-Collar worker."
The Struble's story is one of risk/reward and faith in God. They will inspire you with their stories about commitment to God, family and hard work. Their story is the story of the American Dream personified. It's not without it's challenges, but it's what every working family will identify with, regardless if you work with your hands or not.

In this episode we address the main problem with our world right now - the desperate search for happiness.
In the post-pandemic landscape, we as a culture have failed to return to the surface and instead seem quite content with drowning in a desperate search for joy on our phones and in social media. It's always going to let us down, so what can we do to achieve some sense of course correction when it comes to being happy again. That is exactly what David explores via three simple things you can do to get on track to being happy again.
