Tuskegee University is celebrating a milestone in aviation education. Isaiah Hand, a senior from Tallahassee, Florida, has earned his private pilot license at Moton Field — the first Tuskegee student to do so in nearly 80 years. The achievement comes as Tuskegee relaunches its four-year Aviation Science degree program, with nearly 50 students now enrolled. The accomplishment recalls the university’s historic legacy in flight training and opens new doors for the next generation of aviation professionals.
