I was a late bloomer to Ian Fleming's James Bond overall but when Goldeneye caught my attention, it was time to get savvy with the character in general... Safe to say, this is one of the coolest spies to ever tote a silenced pistol. Even though Pierce Brosnan is MY generational James Bond, I've decided that I need to give Daniel Craig the fair shot I haven't been giving him and his past few movies. I'm not the biggest fan of the 1974 Black Christmas, and I actually prefer the 2006 remake over it for many reasons... But THIS. I didn't expect to be THIS disappointed in yet another remake of a remake. I'm not sure what type of holiday spirit Blumhouse was in when they decided to run with this, but this here would probably want to make Rudolph want to powder his red nose after watching. 2018 gave me back The BoogeyMan himself, Michael Myers, after almost ten years... And I wasn't too disappointed, but I did have some complaints about his last go round trick or treating. Nonetheless I was impressed with how they handled this character overall. So with Mikey coming back for a night of nostalgic terror next year, I couldn't hold back any longer and decided to voice some opinions and concerns for the new film. But trust me, it's not all bad... I'm very much excited for this new entry, and the nostalgia is getting to me again. I hope you tricksters enjoy.

I was not only a big fan of the 90s Power Rangers series (the earlier ones), but I was HUGE fan of the reboot that came out a few years back... I felt there was definitely some magic and true effort put forth with the acting and execution. But sadly, this is an era where if the money doesn't talk loud enough, the product gets the boot. Or reboot in this case. News recently broke of another go round with the Rangers and as confusing and upsetting as it was/is, it's almost intriguing when I think more about it.
