My Uncle, Don Keyz (look out for our episode coming soon) once suggested I do commentary on this... So I accepted tonight, as random as it may seem. Believe it or not, as savvy as I've gotten to modern horror slasher cinema, this was always an 80s gem to me nonetheless. The bad acting finds it's way through my horrific heart, and always seems to carry me. So enjoy this loaded and unscripted talk for this classic, folks.

I finally got a chance to catch up with my homegirl Ms. Swaggg to talk about the slew of horror remakes and such... And of course we went off course more than a few times, and tackled other topics. This episode is what happens when childhood horror buffs link up and voice their opinions. Unfiltered and unhinged, but it made for a great episode and a great guest appearance. For those who don't know, Robert Pattinson is up to Bat (pun intended) in DC's next go round involving the great Dark Knight... And my thoughts are positive, but they're also fearful. With so many variations of Bruce Wayne/Batman on the big screen, both good and bad, those bat boots are BIG ones to fill. The question is can DC hit a home run with this peculiar casting overall, or will this prove that they still have a track record that's suspect? Enjoy, people.

As much acclaim as the big screen adaptation of Stephen King's IT Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 have gotten, I can never forget to show respect to the OG version... It actually does hold up with a lot of the performances for me. The young cast, the adult cast, and Tim Curry still have shining moments, even for a tv miniseries. So in honor of the 29th anniversary of it's (pun intended) release, I decided to talk and clown around myself as I play this first chapter out. Enjoy, y'all.

With Blumhouse about to do their own modern take of The Invisible Man and with Bram Stoker's Dracula recently celebrating it's 27th year, I feel like the Universal Movie Monsters are still very much relevant... But can they still be done properly after The Mummy was a box office bomb? There have been sooo many interpretations of theae characters, good and bad (REALLY BAD), but studios other than Universal know these characters are still a hot commodity. So I decided to tackle the idea of when the 90s-2000s had done the Dark Universe a bit of justice, and people just ranked it irrelevant or underrated. There's way more I'm sure, but I focused on 5 of them for the core of this episode, with more mentions as I near towards the end so enjoy, people.

Mortal Kombat is top billing as far as video games/fighting games go... It's been around since back when kids were figuring out the "blood code" for gaming systems. But as far as cinema os concerned, fans haven't necessarily gotten their dues with a proper version, and one that's R-rated at that. So with a new movie coming in 2021, I decided to chat for a few about the details and what I would like to see this time around. I hope you guys enjoy this one here.

With 9 movies in the can (Hobbs & Shaw is basically Fast 9), this series has enough NOS in it's tank to keep things rolling for quite a while... I never get tired of it. But after the perfect and poetic tribute to the character of Brian O'Conner and Paul Walker himself in Furious 7, I wasn't sure if he'd be back. Well, the internet, set photos, and such have proven wrong. And we very well may see Brian again. Am I gassed up, or have I run out of steam with this schtick? Tune in, people.

I'm a huge fan of The Crow movie and character in general, but does that mean I'm a FAN BOY who will just accept whatever is thrown at me? Of course not... BUT I will discuss it enough to say my likes, dislikes, and how I think this property has been doomed since the death of Brandon Lee (R.I.P.). Enjoy, folks.

When you allow Robert Rodriguez to go from vampires to aliens to zombies, you get an epic gore fest like this here... Not only is this one of the biggest horror spectacles ever on screen for me but this cast alone could be assembled for any genre film, and it would still be amazing. Zombies (aka Sickos), gore, guts, bullets, bad ass alpha males, and even more bad ass women running amok in this flick. And yet, no amount of DC-2 could make me sick enough to ever be tired of this. So I hope y'all enjoy hearing me talk over it throughout. Also forgive me, people... I was very exhausted during the start of this and it shows as the commentary goes on... But I got it done!

They say Misery loves company, but that turns into pure obsession when the company you keep is Paul Sheldon... As a writer, the idea of this movie is terrifying just based off of fandom alone. This movie broke barriers for Stephen King adaptations on the big screen and not only do I love a great film where a writer is in jeopardy, but I love one that's got a sense of claustrophobia even more.
