Though I'm late as all hell, I had to take some time out to cover a black horror/sci-fi flick for Black History Month in some type of way... So I figured why not jump at the opportunity to tackle a Jordan Peele film that had me speculating every way possible before it's release. Peele has had the genre on smash since Get Out and hasn't missed a beat in my opinion, so to watch this alien take for a third time was definitely a charm. There's things here I still may have missed, but the jist of the film overall still has me hooked. Enjoy, folks.

Y'all already know I'm a DC guy at the end of the day but even I can strongly admit, they have been screwing the pooch almost since the beginning... Which is always painful to mention since so many of their films had promise in different ways. So the decision to clean house, scrap movies and shows, recast and such was needed. They deserve better. And whether I'm familiar with some of these properties or not, they're looking to be better overall. There's some pretty interesting things here, and one in particular that got me PUMPED. Okay, I'll admit that I spent way more time on this than I should've, but y'all know I can't help but to be long winded and passionate about movies I either love or hate... I'm in the middle here because I don't hate this nor love it, but that doesn't mean I enjoyed it. Let's just say my movie intuition is right when it's right, and damn sure spot on in this case. Another tale of count Dracula, another actor on board, another bunch of liberties taken... And while I shrugged this off VERY early on, here I am. Drawn to it as if the Count himself had some kind of hold on me to react to this. I'm a fair man, even if I haven't been overly impressed by a Nicholas Cage film in a long time. Enjoy, y'all.

Some of the folks behind the RoseBlood fan film recommended this to me and since I loved that first go round so much, I couldn't turn down the chance to react to this... I always appreciate when real fans of the genre and the property can get the job done when the actual mainstream studios can't (And we've been waiting since 2009). Jason is back, his dad Elias is finally on screen, and there's some loose ends to tie up here. Oh, there's also blood to shed. Lots and lots of blood, and spare parts that will come with it. So Ryann Race had sent this to me on IG, and I had to make it my business to check it out and react to it... He was behind one of the most bad ass Friday The 13th fan films I've seen called Rose Blood. So anybody who has a genuine appreciation for the genre, I can support the movement. I'm usually not one for the demonic/supernatural type of film, but I can go out on a limb here to see a demon get petty. It's stalking this kid at the same time every single night, so I want to see what the outcome may be here. Enjoy, y'all.

Dark Crown Films is back again, and they're giving us yet another on screen serial killer... Only this time, it's based on notorious serial killer Richard Ramirez. I had heard about this guy but after reading more into it, I'm curious to see how they'll tackle the insane shit he was into. Because he was into just that. I'm expecting some dark and heavy material overall. Enjoy, people.
