There was no excuse at all for me not to cover this today... And honestly I should've done this two years ago when I started this show. But better late than never, and I don't mind glorifying the best sequel in the franchise. This is when Jason established himself as the Rock Star of the big dog slashers. While X is still the absolute 10/10 horror flick of 2022 for me, Ti West decided that there's much more story to good old Pearl than we may have imagined... I'm here to let y'all know that I wasn't one of those people who was curious about any of this really. At least I don't remember being interested. Pearl was creepy, sex crazed, and sadistic so that could've been left to the imagination in her old age. Another period piece go round with her wasn't really needed, but I've been wrong about a few A24 movies before, so we shall see. Enjoy, folks.

To my very surprise, they FINALLY dropped this trailer I've been waiting for... This is one of those characters and properties in general that deserves another shot and definitely when it's out of the hands of pieces of shit like Victor Salva. The idea of The Creeper has always been really solid, different, and scary if executed properly. So a brand new director, cast and crew is just what this needs, and maybe some more things on the side to snack on. They seem to be taking this seriously after keeping it under wraps for the most part. But nonetheless, I'm happy The Creeper is back at the winner's table with a chance to eat again. Enjoy, y'all.

Somebody better "prey" for me in this case, because I honestly am about sick and tired of these types of movies... I don't mean to sound like a hater or anything but this shit just isn't my thing and the more these movies come out, the worse they seem to get. But I'll put myself in mix and give these the benefit of the doubt from time to time. And may the Lord save me for it. Enjoy, people.

I've been very curious about this take on the classic tv show, to say the least... It's just still so damn strange that Rob Zombie is directing a PG version of this. But then again, normalcy has never been a thing for Rob Zombie and company. While I was expecting a hardcore version of this on screen, I'm open to see how much Zombie tends to pull back on the usual raw content that divides fans out there. Enjoy, people.

But Viola Davis and her crew are the focus here, so let me say I've been very excited to see this trailer. Any black cinema that empowers is something I need. There's only but so many slave and servant movies I can tolerate, so to show blacks depicted in a stronger way is always a big plus. I wouldn't have expected the same director of Love & Basketball to make the switch to this. But I'm here for it all. Enjoy, people.
