Now I'm a creature feature/monster movie/bug flick fan just as much as the next genre buff... But this is one I haven't seen since I was literally a kid, and wasn't sure if it held up or not. To keep things brief, we're about to see here if the movie sucks more than it's titular mosquitoes do. Enjoy, people.

It's a good thing my boy Roach's birthday was today because otherwise, I think I would've kept waiting for the "right time" to cover this... This is easily one of my favorite Wes Craven films ever made, and I stand so firmly on that. From start to finish, it's such a creepy, entertaining, and socially relevant horror film altogether. And I never get tired of talking about it or watching it. Enjoy, y'all.

I guess with the somewhat huge success of both the Goosebumps movies and Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark, the book to film trend is back in effect... But if they're doing this one here, which I don't really remember in depth, I just have a few requests: Tailypo, Ghost Train, and In A Dark Dark Room. Give me movie versions of those if y'all are taking the time out to make this into a three film Netflix event. Enjoy, folks.

So news broke recently of a follow up entry to the remake of Pet Sematary... And it's safe to say that I'm not excited about it. But to gear myself up for the inevitable, I figured I'd take a trip back to horror fans' favorite ancient burial ground and talk about it during. Because when we understand that sometimes "dead is better", we can always go down this nostalgic and disturbing path and remember why this movie still holds near and dear for fans such as myself. Of course Snake Eyes is a fan favorite amongst the Joes, but I didn't see an origin story in the cards after the last entry... There were bits of flashback sequences that let people know about his childhood in the Rise Of Cobra flick, but I was overall disappointed we weren't getting a sequel to Retaliation. All in all, here we are and we have a film about Snake Eyes' journey, and I wasn't sure how to feel about it. Enjoy, people.

I've waited and waited, so it's finally time to check this bad boy out... A very big shout out to Justin Mane, who stars and is an executive producer here, for sending me the trailer. With a classic original film in the can, a bunch of overall lackluster sequels that followed and so many development hell moments, this is a property that deserves it's shot on screen again. And God bless the Indie filmmakers of the world for making these moves. Enjoy, y'all.

As a Fast & Furious buff, this is quite the switch in terms of cars saving folks during a film... This is a flick I always see on Netflix, but never had desire to watch until last night. But since today is the anniversary of it's release, this was very fitting. I went in blind, but I didn't have these crazy expectations much at all here. It's a car that's either got a driver, or it doesn't. And it's murking townspeople off throughout. Simple things. Enjoy, people.

I actually thoroughly enjoy the Purge series... It's one of Blumhouse's best properties, and I love the liberties they take with this idea that isn't too far fetched in today's society. Not to mention that I don't hate any of the movies in the series, no matter how much they may vary. But being as though the last film was so damn great for me, this finale (so they say) has some really big shoes to fill. Enjoy, folks.

If they want to bless me with a clip and try to win my heart back over with this series, I appreciate the attempt... I'd rather they go for the heart this way as opposed to a Jigsaw contraption I wouldn't outlast. Enjoy, y'all.

This is long overdue... Especially since it's not only a follow up to a somewhat disappointing comic book film, but also because it's been pushed back like a million times. But I'm a patient person for the most part, and I was always curious how a follow up would go about with Venom and Carnage facing off throughout. All I ask is that the fight between the two symbiote goons be choreographed way better, and that I'm able to determine who is who during. That, and a darker and more horrific tone given the content.
