Finally another prayer has been answered horror wise... After warming up to the crazy first trailer for Candyman, I've been pretty anxious to see another trailer that explains a bit more about this "spiritual sequel" to the original classic. And now that I know this will be a body horror and basically a possession film in one, my interest is more than peaked. Blaxploitation horror is making such a strong comeback. Enjoy, folks.

Well, since I was pretty much dead wrong about this film and since the first trailer wowed be quite a bit, I'm here for all of this... That's all I have to say about that. Enjoy, people.

Being as though I missed out on the first two films for so long and had only gotten around to them last year, I found a different appreciation for them both... As I make my way catching up on all the missed blaxploitation horror flicks, the Blacula entries most definitely stand out for me. There's nothing like them in tone and as far as how they're put together. The voodoo aspect of the sequel almost plays out to the likes of recent flicks like Spell. But now that Prince Mamuwalde is coming back to modern times, there's a few things that truly concern me. Proceed with caution here. Enjoy, y'all.

I couldn't find the tv show anywhere, since that's what I would've prefered to cover entirely, so this late 80s gem had to do... And that's not to say this isn't a joy to watch, because I appreciate all aspects of a cheesy comic book B-movie with my boy. This is a property I feel DC is sleeping hard on, so hopefully they pick it up sooner than later. All the vegetarians of the world would be pleased for sure. Enjoy, y'all.

I guess the Tune Squad can lead LeBron James to a championship moment this year of the Lakers couldn't get it done in real life... That's the way things work at times but if I can put my frustration aside, let me say that I'm very interested in seeing this. The first trailer surprised me, and the cartoon character nostalgia is certainly in the building. Enjoy, folks.

Easily thee most underrated entry in the NOES franchise, and sue me if that's too bold of a statement... There's a rare final guy who can scream with the best of queens, there's a possession film at hand, there's strange occurrences, there's broken franchise rules, and there's a very scary and intimidating Freddy. Well, here's to hoping that we get another solid vampire flick... I stick to my guns when I say 30 Days Of Night still has the bar set when it comes to this type of genre, so the recent years have been a bit of a dry spell overall. The airplane setting has been done in horror, but I don't think I've seen a vampire film solely set there throughout, so it may be interesting. Enjoy, y'all.
