Director Fede Alverez has had my respect from the very beginning when he came out with the Evil Dead remake in 2013... So when he followed up with Don't Breathe, he showed horror and thriller audiences that he can do both practical splatter horror and very suspenseful thriller on screen. The guy gets it. But he's now taking a backseat and giving the keys to a new director whom he's worked with a lot. I'm all for it, and am curious to see who's got The Blind Man fucked up this time, because everybody seems to in these movies. Enjoy, y'all.

While I'm more so looking forward to the period piece taking place in 1666, the last trailer won me over and I'm excited to see this play out overall... I'm really hoping this turns out to be a banger for Netflix and it opens up the door for more of these childhood horror books to get on screen adaptations. That should be the ultimate goal. This season has been a banger overall so far, and I couldn't more invested in these characters and this story... Yes, it's starting to get a bit messy which is a concern for me but the drama has always been an intricate part of this series, so it's not enough to pull me out completely. Now it's time to see who shot Douda! Enjoy, people.

For a Marvel property I know not a single thing about, I sure am interested in how this looks overall... Good visuals, fight choreography, set/costume design, etc. This may be a sure win for the MCU in my book if it plays out the way it's looking. Enjoy, y'all.

I remember reading an article about this and reposting, and then the news kind of just fading away as time went on... Then the trailer drops and as I look at the cast, I got overly excited at the mash up of black excellence. There's assorted OGs and Newbies that are all relevant on screen, and some behind the camera as well, but this is what I love to see. Especially in a period piece about horse riding, gun slinging bad asses. This was much needed. Enjoy, people.

Just when I thought BET couldn't get any worse than it's been in the past decade, give or take, this happened... Someone in a board meeting, probably stocked heavily with drugs and alcohol, thought this was a solid enough idea to make a serious toned and racially charged "thriller" out of. I'm not sure what's going on over at this network, but they need to be taken down and the building needs to be demolished. Then rebuilt under new management. Enjoy, y'all.
