Man, when I say I am all smiles right now and eating my words... This is great news. I thought Disney would be starting from scratch with a new Mighty Ducks reboot but clearly, Emilio Estevez making the headline says otherwise. Yup, Gordon Bombay is coming back to lead the Ducks to victory once again. Only this time, they're all fresh faces. I can't wait. Enjoy, y'all.

For the life of me, I can never understand why it is so hard for horror franchises to have consistency, and continuity... It's so easy to do! In this case, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise has very little to no continuity at all, which makes each film almost feel like a standalone version. So with news of a direct sequel to Tobe Hooper's 1974 classic in the works, I tried (and almost didn't make it) to touch on the times this series has and hasn't had any tie ins to each other. Nope... You just can't recreate this. John Carpenter has put his stamp on what was based off of a classic novella, and what was made in 1982 still holds up. The 2011 prequel tried to live up, but was a CG fest, yet pretty fun to watch. But this, this screams "No" all across the arctic. This Thing (pun intended) needs to be left to freeze for another thousand years or so. Enjoy, y'all.

Possibly the most entertaining character to rock a fedora, Indy has always been a guy I root for no matter who or what he's up against... Be it traps, nazis, bugs, people snatching hearts out, or whatever. He gets the job done. But Harrison Ford is getting up there in age and with four movies in the can, I'm really hoping they get this last film popping immediately. At least within the next year or two. Enjoy, folks.

Anaconda is a film that could have easily been a box office flop... But with a nice blend of humor as well as horror, it's a 90s "When Animals Attack" gem. Watching bad CG ridden movies on SyFy makes me appreciate it even more, and the sequel actually. But The Meg has opened up the flood gates for more water beasts to be seen on screen once again, and Anaconda is getting the old reboot treatment. Which I don't think is a very bad idea. Today hurt differently, man... It still doesn't feel real one bit. I kept it brief, but I had to show respect to a Legend (Mamba), his Legacy (Mambacita), and their Loved ones who died in the crash as well. It's a sad sad time, y'all.

Fast 9... The trailer drops next Friday, people. My brain is working both with me and against me, due to my crazed love for this epic action series. So many rumors, conspiracies, photos, posts... I couldn't be more excited for one of my favorite tv gems to return to the small screen... This was a pure binge session, and big creative inspiration for me all around. Surreal and awkward moments, humor galore, so much social commentary, and subtle yet stellar acting. This show has the works. So with FX blessing me with two seasons in one year, I had to talk about it. Enjoy, folks.

With the new Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends ready to wrap up the storyline with Laurie Strode and Michael Myers, there's a big question I have for Blumhouse: What's next after? There's many possibilities here... Halloween 9, a crossover film, direct sequels, etc. But my biggest dream would be to see a direct and TRUE follow up to Halloween 4. It's not hard to do. And with Jamie Lee Curtis ready to exit, Danielle Harris should be on speed dial for the next go round. Enjoy, people.

The MCU has a lot in store for the next couple years to come... From big screen characters to small screen tv spin offs, they're still in grind mode. One of the bigger surprises announced for this next phase was Blade, which I'm excited, curious, and worried about. My concerns are really minor with the exception of one: whether this new reboot will be rated R, or PG-13. I didn't rant too heavily, so enjoy, y'all.
