Safe to say that the Final Destination series has succeeded at making me nervous about anything familiar with it's death sequences... If I see a single flatbed truck handling anything dangerous, I start to wonder why I'm even near it. No matter what the death sequence may be, this series makes it work and makes it count when these people meet their maker. I didn't get to do an ultimate list, but I noted 5 of the worst fates I could think of for myself to endure. I'm even wondering if my phone will explode right now just typing this alone. Spawn is one of those comic book characters that put a huge smile on my face as a kid, just by how dark he was in tone... I wasn't used to such grim heroes like that, so it was a joy to see that on screen back in 1997. But with only a big screen adaptation and an HBO series in the can, I need to know just what is going on with this new reboot. Pre-production hiatuses tend to scare me, so this has me a bit on edge. But I'm staying hopeful nonetheless. Enjoy, y'all.

Saw is one of those torture porn flicks that gets all credit and acclaim from me due to it's storyline and creativity... It's the only horror franchise with damn near perfect continuity. So y'all can imagine my disappointment with the last entry being so lame. My excitement was a bit off with the news of this new entry and after seeing this new trailer, my excitement is as dead as John Kramer aka Jigsaw himself (like really dead). Enjoy, folks.

With today being the day Donald Pleasance passed away, the bit lighter side of the date is I was able to honor and celebrate the birthday of my OG zombie killer, Duane Jones... Not only apart of my favorite film ever made, but a barrier breaker of color on screen (ironically enough, it was for a black and white film). So I break down my top moments of his during the longest night 1968 had seen. Happy Birthday, and R.I.P.

Today marks the day that Donald Pleasance passed away back in 1995, and I remember feeling like I had lost a mystical type of Uncle or something... This is a guy who was such a presence on screen for me. Aside from being in a plethora of films throughout the years, his portrayal of Dr. Loomis in the Halloween series is by far my favorite. To show him some love and respect, I discuss my favorite moments from the six Halloween films he starred in. R.I.P.

So after surviving multiple viewings of the Fast 9 trailer that dropped this afternoon, I got a chance to break some things down and take a deeper look... And while I do have some questions, I'm absolutely loving what I'm seeing for the most part. My brain is a bit on overload now, so I didn't get to do a frame by frame breakdown. I'm a sucker for underrated gems, especially horror ones... So this is a review I've been waiting for the moment I started this podcast. I consider the 90s the era of horror that wasn't as appreciated, so I had to show some love to this campy slasher flick. There's a lot of fun to be had here, and we really don't get unique slashers like this anymore. "Buy a bag, go home in a box" will always be a tagline that sticks with me. Enjoy, folks.

What a treat to realize this underrated gem of mine was celebrating it's 23rd year in cinema... This is easily one of my favorite films ever, and one of Tupac Shakur's most underrated films also. Him and Tim Roth make this a classic for me, and it's just such a wild ride set in a very normal world. I had to let it run it's course and have some fun with this one here. Enjoy, people.
