TV & Movie Reviews: Solo: A Star Wars Story

Listen Later

Of all the highly anticipated Star Wars movies to come out in this wave, Solo: A Star Wars story probably hasn’t come with the same level of hype as the others. But what did our hosts make of this exploration into our lovable rogue’s backstory?

Star Wars comics were first produced by Marvel back in 1977 and the first 6 issues were an adaptation of the first Star Wars movie. The comics were adapted from an earlier version of the screen play and the first few issues came out before the movie. The run lasted 9 years, from 1977 to 1986 and produced many stories that expanded on the original story, along with adapting Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.

There are SPOILERS So if you havent seen the movie please go see if and then come back for the review.
