Rick Sanchez is an award winning primetime anchor and journalist who comes from humble beginnings with his family origins in Cuba.
Rick has been in journalism & news for over 30 years. Rick has spent decades working at both the global and national news level, and has reached tens of millions of viewers worldwide on CNN, Fox News, NBC, Univision, RT and I Heart radio.
He was the CEO of Agua Media, the first to market podcast network aimed at acculturated Latinos and the New American Mainstream.
Throughout his career, Rick has interviewed prominent newsmakers and world leaders including Jimmy Carter, Fidel Castro, Bill Clinton, Mikhail Gorbachev and Manuel Noriega.
He has reported on major events across the United States and around the world, including on-the-scene coverage of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York. He has reported from Havana, Cuba many times and as well as from war zones in Nicaragua, Grenada and during the fall of the Jean-Claude Duvalier regime in Haiti. Rick won an Emmy for his series titled, When I left Cuba.
