Very loosely based on the novel by Roger Zelazny, this sci-fi adventure film bombed at the box office but has since become a cult classic. In the early 90s one of the greatest action directors in cinema history left Hong Kong to make films in the USA. His first American film was Hard Target, one of TV/Movie Rewinds Top Ten Action films. Matt & Todd consider Hard Target to be Woo’s best American made film and Star Jean-Claude Van Damme’s best movie. Featuring Lance Henriksen and Arnold Vosloo in amazing roles as villains. Hard Target reaches its 30th Anniversary in August. Celebrate with us.
