Sam I Am Montolla, also known as Samantha Hinds, is a singer and songwriter from Montreal. Her influences vary from Mary J. Blige, Chaka Khan, Jill Scott. She has performed in different venues in the city, and the Montreal Reggae Festival 2009.

Kandle Osborne, professionally known as Kandle, is a Canadian singer-songwriter, based in Montreal, Quebec. Kandle is the daughter of 54–40 frontman Neil Osborne. She is originally from Victoria, British Columbia.

Ian Kelly, is a Canadian singer-songwriter. Based out of Montreal, he has released four full-length albums. His first, Ian Kelly's Insecurity in 2005 was self-produced. His second, Speak Your Mind was released in 2008 by Quebec leading indie label, Audiogram.

Born and raised in Washington DC, this senegalese/cape verdean entertainer made his mark as a core member of Canada's largest music entity, The Kalmunity Vibe Collective. In addition, Fredy V's alter ego, known as "Jam Washington", is the frontman of the leading international disco/funk review The Boogie Wonder Band (Rick James, EWF, KC & The Sunshine Band).

Wasiu never felt like he truly fit in. Born and raised in Montréal, Québec, the 24-year-old has endured marginalization in nearly every aspect of his life—family, race, education, class—that has, in effect, enhanced his ability to interpret the universal themes of the world around him, and infuse them into forward-thinking narratives for the everyday human.

This Interview will introduce Montreal-based The Empty Yellers a all-girl rock band composed of Celina Wolfe on vocals and guitar, Camille Beaudoin on guitar, Esme Cavanaugh on bass, and Marie Isler on drums. Their music is known for its soulful, powerhouse vocals reminiscent of Janis Joplin and Aretha Franklin, and for reviving the tradition of epic rock guitar solos. Their name is a tribute to their bohemian hometown of Montreal, a city that has fostered classic rock in their music.
