Advocacy is integral to the important work of school psychologists and state associations. School psychologists have an ethical obligation to advocate for practices and policies that advance and protect children and families that are served. Social media is a very powerful, yet underutilized, tool for advocacy. If used correctly, social media can help foster meaningful connections and transform the advocacy efforts of school psychologists into real change that can make a difference.
