This September, as tribute to the flight attendants and crew members killed in the September 11th attacks, former flight attendant Paul "Paulie" Veneto will push an Airline Beverage Cart from Boston Logan Airport to Ground Zero, NYC. Every GWOT veteran was affected by 9/11 and what better way to honor those that sacrificed so much than have a true patriot like Paulie chat with the Irreverent Warriors!
We also have David Boston from the San Jose Hike hopping on to tell us why the left coast hike is the right hike to be at ;-)

We have some awesome guests coming on tonight!
The Korean cease fire happened 68 years ago (as of last week). The DMZ was the scene of many harrowing missions outside the wire for America's Armed Forces for the decades following the cease fire. Many of these missions went unreported unlike the constant live feeds we got from the GWOT. In remembrance of the time our brothers and sisters have spent deployed to the DMZ we have an former Army Infantry Officer (who wishes to remain anonymous due to current DoD contracting) who is coming on the show to talk about what it was like to serve in the ROK back in the 80s and 90s. He's got some wild stories including tigers! TIGERS in the DMZ!
We also have 2 reps from Fort Bragg's Survivor Outreach Services on to discuss an upcoming memorial, 1,000 sets of boots on a Ft. Bragg football field) to represent the men and women lost in Iraq and Afghanistan. They need boots and there are enough IW'ers in NC to help them out!

This week Sully is on vacation down in Texas so Jeremy took the reins and hosted the show. We had on the Tulsa (Charles Schrader) and Ft. Lauderdale (Brendan Allf) coordinators to talk up their respective hikes!
This entire episode was plagued by the tech gremlins from the onset. I am rereleasing this episode after correcting some audio issues and download issues. Hopefully you'll enjoy!

Special Guest: Juan Baret
Juan is a Dominican American Air Force Veteran that has dedicated his life to the service of our Nation. Juan is passionate about the game of Baseball and the great lessons it teaches about life. In 2013, as a former amateur baseball player, he could no longer play due to chronic pain related to military service. But rather than focusing on the things he could no longer do with baseball, this challenge allowed him to make handmade wooden baseball bats called "Baret Bats" so others may play. Fast forward to now and his home-based business is called Baret Baseball Goods and it focuses on: Handmade Baseball Bats for game play and as Art for gifts, baseball gloves, glove relacing and accessories. His bats and gloves have been used in all levels of baseball to include the Major Leagues, and his Artist Bats are featured in the upcoming "Pleibol" exhibition at the Smithsonian Museum of American History. Juan lives in Prince William County Virginia with his wife Darianella and four children. To get a hold of Juan or to order an Artist Bat go to his website: www.baretbats.com
