Our prayer is that each one of us will hear and encounter God in a clear and personal way while we’re together. May you leave here with your faith built up and with greater joy.Our summer series is called “The Arena: Inspiring a Generation of Champions.” “The Arena” is about what can happen as we give up our fears and give our all to the race God has set before us. It’s about the encouragement we can get from others who are living by faith, and it’s about the encouragement we can get from studying God’s Hall of Faith from Hebrews 11. This summer is all about the London Olympics, and so we felt this would be a fitting theme. Today, we get to take a look at Noah. I’m sure every one of us has heard of Noah! When we hear his name, we think of an ark and a rainbow. I believe we’ll all be inspired as we once again look at an ordinary man who made it into Hebrews 11 simply because he said “yes” to God.Please stop by our Next Step Bookstore and look over the books I selected to help you take your next step of faith.Pastor Ron...more37minPlay
July 15, 2012"Follow Sacrificially"Hello Friends and Family! Welcome to Twin Cities. We’ve been praying for you that you would have a meaningful encounter with God today as all of us move toward the full life we can have in Him. We’re in a series we’re calling “The Arena: Inspiring a Generation of Champions.” “The Arena” is about what can happen as we give up our fears and give our all to the race God has set before us. Each week we’re looking at ordinary people from Hebrews 11 who believed God could do what He promised. Since this summer is all about the London Olympics, we thought this would be a fitting theme. Today, we get to take a look at a couple of these heroes of faith – Abel and Enoch. You may have never heard of them, but the way they lived out their faith secured their place in God’s Hall of Fame. Every person who ever made a difference got there through some kind of sacrifice. We’ll look at the sacrifice of these two men and how that applies to our life today. Please stop by our Next Step Bookstore and look over the books I selected to help you take your next step of faith.Pastor Ron...more36minPlay

June 24, 2012"Establishing Family Love and Limits"Hello Friends and Family! Happy Summer to all of you! We’re so glad you are with us today and look forward to spending as much of our summer together as schedules allow. Just know we are excited you are here today and have been praying for you to connect with God!Today, we are coming to the end of a series we’ve called Modern Family Life. It’s amazing to me how little training we get in how to weave our way through the ever changing family maze. Even though the Bible doesn’t really have a section on parenting and grandparenting, it does talk a lot about ways to build healthy relationships. The Bible does talk about one area of family relationships clearly. And that has to do with what we call love and limits. Everyone in the home needs bucket loads of irrational love if it’s going to function in a healthy way. At the same time, our families would be in chaos if there were no limits that we lived by. We’ll look at that this weekend.Make certain to listen carefully to what God wants to say to you. Also, you’ll want to stop by our Next Step Bookstore and check out the family titles we picked for this series.Walking with you in the journey,Pastor Ron...more33minPlay
June 17, 2012"Equipping The Family Workshop"Hello Friends and Family! Welcome DADS! We want to honor you today and tell you that you are awesome! Thanks for being here today to model for your kids what is important to you. I read a quote this week that went something like this, “Your kids will do what you say while they are younger, but they will do what you do as they grow up.” I hope you will see today the tremendous value you build into your family by modeling faith. We’ll be celebrating communion together today. Communion is a time of remembering as we reflect on what Jesus made possible by dying on the cross. He made it possible for us to be restored, renewed and refocused. We’re restored because He forgives us. We’re renewed because He has changed us. We’re refocused because He has given us a purpose.Communion is also a time of reflection and repentance. We get to look at our lives from God’s perspective and make changes (that’s repentance) to get our lives in alignment with Him. I pray that will be what happens in your life. We can leave today free of guilt and free to live.Walking with you in the journey,Pastor Ron...more41minPlay
June 10, 2012"Maximizing Family Time"Hello Friends and Family! We’re back in our house today after the service last week at Western Gateway Park. I am so grateful to be part of a movement where the people are so flexible and accommodating. If you missed last week, please go online and watch my message. I talked about how God is leading us into the next decade of doing ministry together. We’re so glad you’re all here! We’re going to continue our Modern Family Life series by looking at the whole issue of time. Time is such a tight commodity in most homes. Even though we all have the same amount of time in our day, what we do with that time is the difference between a home of peace and a home of chaos.I look forward to how God is going to speak to each of us at the point of our deepest need today. Please stop by our Next Step bookstore and look over the Pastor’s Picks for this series. We select books and resources to help you in your journey and spiritual walk with God and others.
