We gotta hand it to them. Vin Diesel and the team down at Fast & Furious HQ really put together something you could slap on screen, and you know what, I'm proud of them. It takes a lot of guts to write a title like that and good on them, they stuck to their guns and went for it. This week the boys discuss more trailers and news and movies than you can shake a cybernetically enhanced Idris Elba at. They talk about the massive news of the week (perhaps month); that Spider-Man's future in the MCU looks to be uncertain, and how both Disney and Sony are trying to one-up each other. Also, the discuss the recently announced "Matrix 4" film that certainly won't attempt to change history. The boys also talk about the fantastic new trailers for "The Report" featuring Adam Driver and a number of other fantastic trailers, one in particular that scares Andrew(???). All that and more as they jump right into the review of the new film from the Fast & the Furious universe it's "Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw." And baby, this is definitely a new film. Well they're back! It took weeks upon weeks but the petitions have finally gone through. However, the judge took one look at them and accidentally spilled her coffee on them so another week went by and then she looked at them, finally. However after all that time everyone had forgotten why they had signed the petition in the first place and the judge decided it would be best for everyone if they just threw the whole thing out. And that, ladies and gentlemen, leads us to today. After weeks upon weeks of your petitions, they have not worked yet again, and the boys are back. And on this week's show, the boys are joined by frequent guest, Georgia! The gang dive head first into talking about the new Rian Johnson flick titled "Knives Out." The police chief of the great city of Cerulean has come down hard on the boys, shaking his fist, and yelling obscenities. The people have come together, petition in hand, for the greater good of taking the boys down. But they will not be deterred. No matter what happens, whether it be the long arm of the law or dwindling download numbers, nothing will stop them from bringing the truth. However, this week they've got some back up. It has finally happened. The man finally took one of the boys down and Andrew has been thrown in the big house for having "too good of content" this last week. So Pat took his little fanny down to the podcast store and asked for one replacement host. And what he got was someone with knowledge on all things super natural, a true master of the dark arts. The boys down at the lab were successful. With their little lab coats and safety goggles, tinkering with their little beakers filled with a suspiciously fluorescent coloured liquid. They've been working days, months, even years down there and they've finally done it. It wasn't easy. Oh boy, it was not easy. But god damn the world if these boys weren't going to try their best to get it done. And they have. How many relationships have suffered? How many tee-ball games have they missed? How many saxophone try-outs? Or diorama project presentations? But it was all worth it. Worth it to bring you the spiciest, most interesting movie podcast on the planet. This week the boys spent some time discussing the various conspiracy theories about the absolute shit "Sonic the Hedgehog" movie. They also dive into accents, once again, and spend entirely too long talking about the art of 'riffing.' Well your petitions haven't worked! The boys have returned for yet another week of movie reviewing and there's nothing you can do about it! Try and stop them and you will FAIL! There is nothing that will stop the fellars from reviewing some of the most talked about, and the most podcasted movie of the last decade. Adding to the metaphorical trash pile of podcasts taling about super hero movies. But we all know you have come to them for their opinion because it scares you. Because it also frightens you and you don't know why.
