I am gonna give a massive shout out to CrostPaths who actually arranged this interview for me at Breaking Bands Festival!

After we had finished chatting they collared me and asked me to interview an awesomely friendly band, low and behold Spyder Byte arrived into my office (ok, a seating booth in the beer garden haha)

If you want a really energetic band that give their all to their performances then these are the ones for you HOWEVER be sure to spell their name right "Y's instead of I's" they made a point in telling me during the interview and for goodness sake, do not mention spiders in their company!!
We chatted about lots of stuff and to be honest I could have chatted to them all night!!

Check them out they are so friendly and personable and I instantly felt like I'd know them for years!

"You look like a children's colouring book!!"
This was my opening compliment to this elusive band, I have been trying to track them down for AGES to host them on my podcast.

Well finally on a nice warm, sunny day at Breaking Bands Festival I managed to hold them captive for half an hour whilst we talked all things Crostpaths, they talked me through the name which has a few meanings as you'll get to know after listening to this hilarious interview.
Not only are they extremely talented musicians, very colourful characters, i'm sure they are comedians in disguise.

I didn't want this interview to stop, we could have chatted all night!!!
Anyway, have a listen to our nonsense rambles and also about when one of them got vomited on at Slam Dunk Festival!!!

I had a wonderful time at Breaking Bands Festival, this is one of my favourite festivals and I'm proud to have shared the journey with the team over the years watching it grow. It's already broken even for this year and has sold enough tickets to cement its place on the calendar for next year-A scaled back version like the good old days to celebrate its 9th chapter!

I had the absolute honour to catch up with "Planet Fatale" who I actually met at last years event, we just randomly got chatting so it was lovely to interview them for my podcast!

Helen talked me through their new album, which I'm so excited for and the plans they have for the future!
We chatted about how they came up wit the band name, song names and their struggle to narrow down what songs are to appear on their new album.
They also run through some of the up and coming gigs they have lined up.

There's a prize for anybody who can guess how many festival wristbands Helen has round her wrist, it's a very impressive collection may I add!!!

I had the pleasure of catching up with the Metal 2 the Masses Leicester winners Voidwalker who will perform at Bloodstock Festival in August.

Massive congratulations to them on winning and what a perfect place to have the final....at UPRISING!!
The room was packed and there's no doubt on anybody mind that they deserved to win.
They are playing on the Friday at Bloodstock this year so be sure to catch them! Oh and one last piece of advice, make sure you apply plenty of sun lotion as they will melt your face with those riffs.

P.S Congratulations for being the cleverest band I interviewed at this event!!!

Those of you familiar with Blackened Death Metal will be very familiar with these Leicester Veterans-BLOOD OATH!

Now you might think they were really scary judging by their stage persona HOWEVER, I have to tell you I had them purring by the end of our chat!

This episode is an absolute favourite of mine and despite it being under 12 minutes we definitely covered a lot of ground! We talked about getting older and the effects it has on your body, visits to the GP and getting some surprises whilst there and many other things!

Listen in, to see how they got on in my famous General Knowledge Quiz!!!!

I love a band that are just effortlessly hilarious, easy to talk to and are so fun to be around they leave you wanting more!
Tribe Of Ghosts are that band!! They are so genuine, so passionate and are here for a damn good time!
They took time out of their busy schedule to chat to me and we even finished with a Cher medley, I even at one point got Adam to get down on all fours whilst I sat on him and belted out "If I Could Turn Back Time" 10/10 you make a great cannon mate!

They have so many exciting things planned for the future including some big shows!
There are so many festivals on their bucket list so let's get this shared and help make their dream become reality.....They absolutely deserve it after all!

I had the amazing opportunity to chat to Nina Saeidi, not just the pretty face but the lungs behind the band Lowen!

She described my interview as "extremely unique" and this is something I pride myself on. I love nothing more to delve into the personal lives of band members and Nina very kindly talked me through her beautiful dress, the meanings behind it and a brief insight into her culture.

I caught up with Recall The Remains a few months back, If you listened to our interview then you'll be familiar with the vulgar nature in which we talk about the hill near where they hail from and the legendary drawing of a candle.

I'm so honoured to have had the opportunity to catch up with them again at UPRISING 2023!
I'm telling you now....THESE ARE GONNA BE MASSIVE..So catch them whilst you can afford to do so!

Not only are they talented musicians in their own rights they are really nice, down to earth people- In other words, the complete package!

Listen to our hilarious interview and if you don't find it funny..well...thats your problem!

I had the absolute honour to chat to my good friend Dan Carter! Those of you familiar with the music scene will know this man, he's the man behind DC Sound Attack.
Not only does he feed me bands every week to interview he's also shit at quizzes!!
I have some wonderful footage to accompany our interview, this will be offered as a PPV service haha!
He manages a plethora of our up and coming Rock and Metal bands, offering Bookings, PR and Management services and I'd go as far as saying he is one of THE best promoters on the scene at the time of writing. He prides himself in artist development and often raises money for charity to help do his bit and give something back!

Have a listen to our chat, I had a great time putting him on the spot!

Contrary to popular belief this band are not in fact named after that total wipe out game at the end of the tv programme Gladiators "The Eliminator"!
In fact I would tell you where they got their name from but that would spoil the fun!
I thought at one point whilst I was chatting to these guys, they were going to recreate the famous Adam Gregory moment where he fell backwards off his chair on the Bloodstock live stream!
Have a listen to our chat to find out what to expect in the near future!
