Hailing from the "Steel City" are these mischievous lads...Steal The City.
I had the pleasure of chatting to them at Sav Fest earlier this year.

These guys remind me of excited puppies, bounding around with so much energy and they have time for each and every person that they meet, the only difference is that the last time I checked with them they were fully potty trained!

They fared pretty well in the general knowledge quiz, and the only bit of advice I can give them is to find a better chat up line...amateurs!!

I had the honour of chatting to Gary Moat, some of you may remember him being in the 80's Scottish hard rock outfit "Heavy Pettin"  back in the day.
We reminisced about his past endeavours touring with bands such as KISS, Metallica, Motley Crue to name a few.
The main reason for our interview was to spread the word about his current band, "Burnt Out Wreck" Who's album has charted at #3 in the Pre Sale chart on Amazon!!! How awesome is that??! So well deserved.
Their new album "Stand And Fight" is released tomorrow 16/12/22 .

It was my absolute pleasure to catch up with the insanely talented and extremely clever guys in Dead Mans Whiskey at RockWich 2022. They stepped in last minute at RockWich 2021 and came back for more this year!

I will go as far as saying they are one of the cleverest bands I have had the honour of interviewing so far, and i've interviewed a plethora of bands.
I had to eat my words and put my money where my mouth was as they answered a question right, I was adamant they wouldn't get it right but I was wrong...so wrong!
A trip to the bar later and a shot for each member, i've learnt my lesson...not to bet real money!

Those of you that are familiar with the Stoke-On-Trent Music scene will no doubt know of, heard of or had the pleasure of meeting Chris Munday.
He took me on a musical journey, way back when, going back through to his earliest music memories, influences and how this has shaped him as a vocalist.

He opened up about his brave journey getting diagnosed with ADHD and talks openly about his mental health struggles over the years, how this has influenced his song writing and the important  to reach out to each other and check on your loved ones, friends and family.

He takes us on  an audio journey through his career as a vocalist in his past and all the way through to his present band, his love of graphic design and his passion to pursue his music career.
He also throws a few "shout outs" to those that have inspired him along the way, fellow band members and those who accompanied him on his musical journey.

I caught up with the guys in Electric Black after their set at RockWich Festival 2022!
Hailing from Hitchin, this rock quartet are the whole package, real good fun and really good musicians.
It's gotta be said that the winner of the coolest shades award goes to Ryan..those shades were THE coolest I've ever seen.

When I broke the news that I'd left my quiz questions in my tent, the boys thought they had escaped.....boy were they wrong!

I had the pleasure of chatting to Daxx & Roxane at RockWich 2022!
In 13 minutes I found out how they came up with their name, what their favourite food was and even arranged a tour of my own #ToothlessTours.
We chatted about their home back in the Swiss Mountains and the reason that toblerone's are shaped like triangles.
I even managed to fit both rounds of my general knowledge quiz and it has to be said that they performed pretty well and it was rather hilarious!

I had the absolute honour of chatting to Mercia at RockWich 2022.
We talked all things "Stokie" such as oatcakes, venues and old school music acquaintances we have met on the musical journey, most of which we have in common.
Special mention goes out to Ian Chapman, who most of you know affectionately as "Buff". We thanked you for your continual dedication to the music scene in Stoke and keeping the live music scene alive, Long live The Freebird!
Mercia are contenders for being one of the cleverest bands I've interviewed and are all round decent lads, providing the best entertainment on and off the stage.
They are a band not to be missed and are taking the scene by storm. Despite their warpaint and viking marks, they aren't as scary or intimidating as they look....Or are they? I'll leave that for you to decide!
