Following the 1 – 0 home defeat by Blackburn Rovers and the 1 – 1 draw with Durham in the Championship following last seasons promotion. We hear from Alan who is positive about things despite a sense that the manager will inevitably moved on and therefore refuses to get emotionally attached to him, Brett asks why Louza might not have been disciplined in a another way rather than dropping him from the starting eleven (following 2 late arrivals for training) but also wants to know what clothes he should wear at the next game as he seems convinced his clothing is cursed!
Uncle Ron joins to the strains of Chas and Dave and tells us this week why there is no pleasing him – unimpressed with Valball and comparing the squad for that in the early 1990’s (with an honourable exception of Matheus Martins). Unimpressed with Mileta Rajovic’s first 30 minutes or so in a Watford shirt – he is in favour of him having some assistance and playing two upfront.
Wendover joined and his usual positivity was balanced with a frustration that we say we have played ok but again failed to take anything from the game and is looking (as ever) to the end of the transfer window and hoping for improvements and re-enforcements.
Alex thinks things will work out we need to be patient pointing out that the performance and identity are better this season even if the results are less so (in the same period as last season), Paul joins us to implore the Watford supporters to get behind during the game no matter what their position on all things political at the club, Jack feels that Louza (dropped from the starting line up) should have been dropped all together before Pete bangs on about Kone’s hair band, Mike joins to pour over proceedings Pete gets him to inhabit Valerien Ismael for three minutes and tell us what he would have done at half time (believe it or not we didn’t even make an innuendo about this!!!)
